The American Beverage Institute recently appeared on PBS Hawaii to debate the merits of the state’s 0.05 proposal with representatives from Mothers Against Drunk Driving, the Honolulu Police Department, and the State Public Defender’s Office. During the hour-long debate, the American Beverage Institute used government data and common sense ideas to show how a 0.05 BAC law would do little to save lives.
